Synopsis: young teenage boy is going through life as a

of it being popular.
My thoughts: This
is a good story for children who are at the in between age of teenager and child. It gives the perspective of a student and explains his thoughts and life experiences. Students can relate to possibly sibling rivalries or procrastinating on assignments.
Post reading activity: Have students create their own
journal of their daily lives documenting their highs and lows. Allow students to watch the movie version of the book, discuss how the book and the movie are similar and different.
